Some projects have an empty seat
A project can announce it is looking for builders. You ask to join, and the owner accepts or declines.
How it works
An owner turns on an open call and writes a sentence about who they need. Builders see it on the Ideas wall and on the project page and can apply with one press.
Invitations go the other way
Owners can also invite a builder by handle, with a role label. Either way, nothing grants anything until it is accepted.
What joining means
An accepted builder can write entries into that project’s log. That is all. The owner still controls the stage and the project itself.
Common questions
Can a stranger add themselves to a project?
Only if the project has an open call, and the owner still has to accept.
